Failure Risk of Subsurface Due to Karst Formations
For my two year engineering capstone project, I wanted to combine both the fields I am passionate about: engineering and geology. So, I proposed my own project. This project aims to discover any potential karst formations under the Isat/EnGeo/PhysChem building to ensure the safety of the individuals in the buildings and maximize its longevity.

Human-Powered Vehicle
In my 2nd year at JMU, I and a group of 9 other engineering students were tasked with designing and fabricating a human-powered vehicle. This vehicle was for a child in the local community who had specific physical abilities.

Engineering Design Challenge #1
In my first engineering class at JMU, we were challenged to discover a solution to the problem of local traffic (in the JMU community) by encouraging alternative modes of transportation.

ROCKETRY PROJECT
During my senior year of high school, my calculus class assembled a 9.5 foot rocket. I learned problem solving skills, how to work with a team, creativity, a physics application, and the importance of accuracy. Also, I learned how to properly use several different tools like a palm sander, a sauntering gun and a 3D printer.
