Curiosity is one of my strongest character traits, which is what fuels my passion for engineering. As an engineering student at James Madison University, I am encouraged to explore my academic interests and develop a diverse skill set. Currently, I am able to harness my curiosity by being a part of a research team that is working with different natural adhesive polymers.
Growing up in a small rural town did not prohibit me from meeting diverse people or from traveling to many places. I have been to Maine, Florida, Washington, Wyoming, California, Belize and many more places. Seeing so many different landscapes in the United States is what helped develop my passion for geology.
